Psychotherapy
When unresolved tension is held within ourselves, in our relationships, or in our work, it can be frustrating, draining, and costly. It can impact our health, strain or break relationships, and lead to professional setbacks — at times even escalating into a full-blown crisis.
Often these challenges reflect a lack of inner coherence, resulting in:
Loss of self — feeling insecure, reactive, or out of alignment.
Loss of connection — relationships strained by conflict, forcing, or resentment.
Loss of meaning — diminished sense of direction while your potential remains unexpressed.
This work focuses on transforming tension and conflict across the personal, relational, and professional aspects of your life — enabling you to live, relate, and contribute from your centre.
Using The Bridging Polarity Method, we work directly with what is present — not by avoiding tension or forcing change, but by learning to work with the tension of opposites — allowing resolution to emerge through integration.
As you do, life begins to change:
Sense of self — you learn to befriend unconscious pain with curiosity, courage and compassion.
Sense of connection — you begin to relate to others with authenticity, respect and integrity.
Sense of meaning — you can contribute to the world with purpose, meaning and resolve.
In other words, your life becomes more whole — and your love deepens.
How I Work
Whether you are navigating inner tension, relationship conflict, professional struggles — or deeper layers of depression, grief, and life crisis — this is a space to meet yourself and begin to heal.
Psychotherapy creates a space to work directly with what is holding you back — inviting you to integrate the opposites within and around you. In our sessions, I offer a compassionate and productive space for you to explore what you are going through — without judgment.
At the heart of this work is learning to work with the tension of opposites as they arise within you. Together, we explore your capacity to:
be present and fully embodied (vertical)
take action and let go (horizontal)
build connection and establish boundaries (circular)
When these are out of balance, they can manifest as tension, conflict and polarisation — which can represent shadow material such as:
dissociation and addiction
forcing and withholding
enmeshment and isolation
As these tensions become conscious, they become workable.
This is where you begin to work with the tension of opposites, rather than being ruled by them. Through reflective dialogue, embodiment awareness, and carefully guided polarity practices, these patterns are brought into conscious relationship — where integration becomes possible.
Rather than choosing one polarity over another, we bring them into conscious relationship — enabling you to reclaim your shadow material, return to your centre, relate from your truth, and realise your potential. In other words, life becomes more whole — and your love deepens.
The Four Stages of Integration
The work unfolds across four phases of integration. As you learn to work with the tension of opposites, a deeper transformation occurs — enabling you to turn conflict into resolution, and polarisation into integration.
Transform
Reclaim your shadow
Together, we explore your inner world—past wounds, emotional patterns, and lived experiences—and map them through six polarity distortions. As aspects that have been judged, repressed, or inflated are integrated, energy that was once trapped in internal conflict is released — restoring vitality and movement.
Stabilise
Return to your centre
Develop a stable inner base that remains steady even amidst inner and outer tension, conflict, and polarisation. This stage brings alignment and integrity across the physical, emotional, mental, and deeper dimensions of your life — allowing you to develop an unshakable secure base within yourself.
Deepen
Relate from your truth
As inner tensions integrate, your relationships begin to shift. You learn to express yourself calmly, clearly and with compassion. You learn the art of giving and receiving, connecting intimately while maintaining healthy boundaries, which restores flow, honesty, and depth in how you relate.
Contribute
Realise your potential
As coherence develops within, your energy naturally begins to organise around what matters most. You move through the world with greater clarity, purpose, and impact — bridging who you are with what life is asking of you. In the process, you develop a deep sense of trust in life’s unfolding.
My Approach
My approach is integrative, drawing from six core disciplines to meet you where you are:
Psychodynamic — Working with your unconscious, early life patterns, and attachment styles.
Humanistic — Supporting authenticity, self-worth, and the fulfilment of your potential.
Existential — Exploring fear, meaning, and purpose in the face of life’s challenges.
Transpersonal — Engaging the spiritual dimension through dreamwork, archetypes and practices of awakening.
Somatic — Working with your body’s own wisdom to access and release stored emotions, pain and memories.
Polarity traditions — Taoism (Yin and Yang), Tantra (Shiva and Shakti), Jungian psychology (Animus and Anima), and other polarity traditions — integrated within a grounded and ethical clinical framework.
These inform The Bridging Polarity Method, which integrates the psychological, somatic, relational, and transpersonal dimensions into one coherent process.
The Fruits of This Work
As you learn to work with the tension of opposites, your perception becomes clearer and more grounded. You begin to respond rather than react. You experience greater stability within yourself, deeper harmony in your relationships, and clearer direction in your purpose. This is not about becoming someone new, but about becoming more coherent. Thought, feeling and action align. Life becomes less divided and more whole.
Benefits include:
Transformation — Reclaiming your shadow leads to mental and emotional recovery. By no longer carrying unconscious pain, a tangible weight is lifted from your body. You regain the vital energy once lost to internal conflict, making it available for every aspect of your life.
Stability — Returning to your centre gives you a secure inner base. You develop a reliable, unshakable steadiness—the ability to remain grounded even when external circumstances are chaotic. Your choices cease to be reactive impulses and become expressions from an aligned core.
Depth — Relating from your truth represents your capacity for deep intimacy and discerning boundaries. You learn the art of giving and receiving—where authenticity, respect and love become second nature—allowing you to be deeply seen and met while maintaining healthy boundaries.
Contribution — Realising your potential adds value to the world. As your unique gifts manifest as outward action, it brings a sense of deep meaning, fulfilment and impact. In the process, you experience the ultimate shift: a peace of being at home within yourself and a grounded trust in life’s unfolding.
