The Podcast
Bridging Polarities with Sergio Sarkis
A podcast exploring the polarity tensions that shape our inner and outer words.
In an increasingly polarised world, we need spaces where complexity and nuance are welcomed — where ideas can be explored without collapsing into rigid positions.
This podcast is one such space. A place for reflection. A place for dialogue. A place where opposites can meet.
Some episodes will be conversations with guests. Others are solo reflections exploring the deeper patterns behind tension moving through the collective.
My Role
My role is to name the elephant in the room. When I sense tension in the collective shadow, I do my best to bring it to the light so we can explore it together using the dialectic process.
Many of these tensions follow a classical pattern of inquiry inspired by Hegel’s dialectic:
Thesis — We explore the values and perspectives from one side
Anti-Thesis — We explore the opposing side
Synthesis —We bridge both polarities and explore the spectrum between them
Rather than choosing sides, the aim is to develop understanding and create s pace where opposites can relate — enabling listeners to feel more whole and empowered.
Themes Explored
The Bridging Polarity Method began as a framework for personal transformation, helping individuals integrate the opposites within themselves. This podcast not only examines our inner world but also how polarity appears in our outer world.
Themes may include:
Psychology — Self / Ego
Gender — Feminine / Masculine
Relationships — Intimacy / Autonomy
Politics — The Left / The Right
Economics — Socialism / Capitalism
Geography — Open Border / Closed Border
Art — Abstract / Realism
Physics — Whole / Causal
Biology — Epigenetic / Genetic
Knowledge — Subjective / Objective
Reality — Chaos / Order
Spirituality — Non-Dual / Dual
Categories — Fluid / Fixed
“Everything is Dual; everything has poles; everything has its pair of opposites; like and unlike are the same; opposites are identical in nature, but different in degree; extremes meet; all truths are but half-truths; all paradoxes may be reconciled.”
